1. What Data Is Processed and Where

Data you create in the app

All habit-tracking data and app settings are stored exclusively in a local database on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Selected apps for blocking are stored as opaque system tokens provided by Apple's Screen Time framework (FamilyControls). These tokens are not human-readable — we have no way to determine which apps you select.

Subscription data (RevenueCat)

If you purchase a ScreenHabit Premium subscription, RevenueCat receives a randomized App Store subscriber ID and purchase receipt data from Apple to verify your entitlement. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or payment details — those are handled exclusively by Apple.

RevenueCat is a US-based service. Your subscription data may be transferred to and processed in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. Providing this data is necessary to activate premium features.

RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing necessary for the performance of a contract.

2. Data Retention

3. Your Rights (GDPR)

As an EU/EEA resident you have the right to access, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. Since all app data is stored locally on your device and we hold no copy of it, your data is already in your possession. Deleting the app removes all on-device data. For subscription data held by RevenueCat, contact [email protected] directly.
